Hi there,
I got my receipt on May 21'2002. Have not heard anything from them
regarding fingerprinting. Lets keep each other posted.
I hope they did change my address as i moved in between. I was told
that the only way i can get the address changed is by writing a letter
which i did.
Can anyone tell me the address change process in NYC.

Hey lets keep this thread alive. Good source of information for NYC AOSers.

Our AOS submission date: August 15, 2002
Status: On 2nd EAD, nothing from USCIS regarding fgprints,
or AOS interview yet.

Any other NYC AOSers around this date?
August 1st 2002 here - just waiting patiently........

Hello

Since our Aos in New York City has be filed, is there a way to keep track of

Thanks

Wow another James and Rita in NYC. What are the odds ;-)

No there is no online tracking available for this process. Just sit back and wait out the 2 years or so until the interview.

James:

No there is no way. Keep your yellow receipt very carefully: it's the
only evidence you've filed your AOS. You can get processing times from
the USCIS website, but these times are approximate and sometimes
completely inaccurate.

Sonny.

Did you see the date for processing AP's though? Jan 26, 2004. Sounds like they have cut the backlog for AP processing (I expect because much of it is now being done by NBC).
