The AOS process in Chicago for us has been in process for 22 months.
That is normal but this summer I may have to take a job that requires
a move to Arizona. I know that we have to file change of address
forms with the Chicago office. If they transfer our file to Arizona
do we have to start over in the waiting process? Would it be better
to just wait to get notified and then fly back to Chicago for the
adjustment? I assume that until this is done we just have to keep
renewing the EAD and advance parole forms. What is the amount of time
it takes to actually get the file transferred.


This is becoming frustrating but I am sure many of you are
experiencing the same thing.
