Default AOS of K-3 visa holder

hi. Now I am here in north carolina with my K3 visa.
It s great to be with my hubby here
I sent I-765 to MSC for getting an EAD card.
I guess it will take about 2 months to get it.

I feel thankful to all of you to help me to finish K-3 process.

Anyway, there is another question about AOS.
I want to file I-485 for AOS and my local office is in Charlotte, NC.
But actually, right now, I-130 has not been approved yet.
Is it possible to file for AOS? or do I need to wait till approval?

Thanks for your advise.

I read of another person off the site filing AOS for a K3 in Charlotte. Will be interested to hear any other thoughts as I'll be in NC and dealing with Charlotte too.

Thank you for advise, RoB.

It's nice to hear that.
I will call Charlotte to ask something about AOS.

I have arrived here, NC a few days ago.
Everything is new to me, but fine.
Where do you plan to live in NC?
I am in Chapel hill and plan to study

I will contact you if I get any news from Charlotte.

I'll be arriving next week, subject to my interview on Friday......
I'll be living in Sanford which isn't too far away from Chapel Hill. Look forward to any news you have on Charlotte, thanks!

You will have to wait for the I-130 to be approved to do the AOS. IT WILL TAKE
ABOUT 90 DAYS FOR THE EAD

Did you get this information from Charlotte BCIS themselves?
