Default AOS Interview Yesterday....New Medical Rule I didn't know...

Hey Everyone! First, thanks for all the advice you guys have provided,
directly and indirectly

My husband and I got up yesterday at the butt crack of dawn to make it
to our 8:30am appointment on time. You just never know what Atlanta
traffic will be like. We got there an hour early so we went to mickey
d's for breakfast to kill some time.

Anyway, we went and checked in around 8:20 and waited until about 9am to
be taken back into the officer's office. It was pretty painless, took
about 20 mins. She asked a lot of questions that I had already answered
in all the crap I'd sent in. She did want our 2006 joint tax return and
w2's. She asked my husband where he met me and seemed to be really stuck
on if we went to the same church (we met at church) and how long he knew
me before we got married. Then she wanted to know if my husband had met
my folks and if he'd traveled to Canada (he hasn't yet) but my folks
come visit me like every 6 months anyway (plus I haven't been back to
there since xmas 05 myself). She asked where the wedding was and who
came to it and looked at our pics. She asked who were in the pics. She
made a comment about our wedding not being in a court house which I
thought was interesting. Then she asked what evidence we'd brought to
show our shared life and I showed her our joint car loan, joint auto
insurance, joint cell phone plan, joint bank account and some other
stuff I'm blanking on at the moment. She asked for my passport but I
didn't have it's b/c it's still being processed in canada to add my
married name, she wanted some evidence that I'd sent it but I didn't
have any and I didn't think to bring any, opps, but all in all that
wasn't a big deal.

The only snag was my medical. I had it done last fall and apparently as
of Jan 1/07, they are requiring both TB tests (skin and xray), I'd only
had the xray done. She gave me an RFE form and I have to go get the
skin test done and send the results back. So, I called the doc that did
my medical and in typical CIS fashion even the docs weren't notified
about the change ! It was not problem though, I went in this
morning to get it taken care of and I'll have my results friday. They
aren't even charging people. But, in thier office they have a bunch of
signs posted about just having the skin test done so I'm guessing it's
affected a whole bunch of people.

Anyway, the officer said that it looks as though I will be approved once
the RFE gets back to her and I should have my green card about 2 weeks
after that, woohoo!!!!!

I'm really happy b/c I'll get to go through the really short US
Citizen/LPR line when I go canada for my sisters wedding!! Gosh, that
line never has anyone in it and I've waited like 1-2 hours before in the
regular line. It's the little things that are the bonus, hehe! Hope
everyone is having a great day
