Here's my situation: When I applied for the K1, I was well above the =
required income level for a 2 family household. Since we were approved, =
came here, married, and applied for the AOS, I've decided to finish my =
professional degree program and therefore and currently in school full =
time. We are living with my folks, and my wife is not working. I =
submitted 3 years of tax returns, unfortunately the most recent is not =
within the required criteria. How will this be handled ?=20

Thanks in advance,

TK

Hello TK,

you need to get a co-sponsor for the I-864. Maybe your parents can
help?
If living together for 6 months in the same household, your wife's
income can also be counted - were she to work.
Or, if you have enough assets to make up the missing difference (there
is a rule on how to calculate this in the I-864), you should also be
fine.
