I was supposed to have my AOS interview in January in West Palm. It ended up
getting moved to August 20th, and I only took my fingerprints on August
16th. When I went for the interview, everything went great and I was
approved pending clearance check. I still have not heard anything back, and
not gotten a letter yet. I setup an infopass apt for this coming Monday to
go see what's going on. I called the FBI, and they said my fingerprints were
sent back to INS on August 18th. Anyone have any similar experiences? Or
does anyone know what I should say at my apt on Monday? I really need to be
able to travel for work, and since I was here for a period of time without
status (only 3 months and I am Canadian, so I know it shouldn't really
matter), I can't get advance parole to travel.
Some advice or info would be seriously greatly appreciated, as I really need
to travel for work.
Thanks!

You may as well cancel the appointment. I don't think they'll be able to
tell you much at all. The delay seems to be very much within the normal
range. If it had been an unreasonable amount of time (which would
probably be measured in years rather than months), then the contact
person I would recommend you talk to is your Congressional
Representative (http://shaw.house.gov/District/)

You being Canadian has nothing to do with it; Canadians are subject to
the same immigration laws as everybody else (except of course US citizens).
But having been out of status for three months matters; you should
actually be able to use Advance Parole without a problem. Only if it had
been 180 days would A/P be unavailable for you.
