Default AOS Interview

Hello All:

I will really appreciate if any one can help us with a question we have.
Our AOS interview is next month We are married for 6 yrs but my husband
applied for GC only after he got his US citizenship(I am in US now Canadian
Citizen).At interview if the officer ask my husband why he did not apply for
my(his wife) GC before he got is citizenship what should we answer.I will
really be gratful if any one could answer me this PLEASE. I THANK EVERY ONE'S
TIME AND HELP IN ADVANCE

How about the truth? Why would it even be an issue?

That particular question will not be asked. They might ask when you entered the US to start living with your husband. How you entered the US and were you inspected at a POE. But even those questions are rarely asked.

I don't know why they would care, in fact it might help that you weren't legal. Our Government "leaders" have had the welcome mat out for decades to millions that go over the border illegally. It's the people that actually fill out the forms, pay the filling fees and go to the interviews that they are really against.

1) You should always tell the truth... but you probably won't even be asked.
2) Your husband did *not* apply for your GC.

I thought the "nonsense" was very funny. It would even be funnier if it
weren't almost true.
I guess I just needed a good laugh today.
