AOS - Immunization Question

On the back of the I-693 form, there is a Medical Condition checklist thingy............RE: Immunizations it says ...."Immunizations are not required, but the applicant should be encouraged to go to physician or local health dedpartment for appropriate immunizations" .............
Now, does this mean, if Pete so chooses, he doesn't have to get his Tetanus and the MMR jabs prior to the AOS interview? It seems strange, we have heard on this forum that the only way around them is for religious objections and now we find this? Anyone know the scoop?
Cheers,
Leslie

Based on conversation while waiting on the queue, my wife said that the
immunizations are required before the AOS interview. Haven't heard of
anyone getting away with the religious objection. She opted to have them
done as part of the medical check up as she was getting her visa (K-1) from
London.

I would go with what the form says, you will have a copy and the interviewing officer will see it???
My husband provided no proof of immunizations to his doctor, his doctor was form Germany and knew he had had them all. No one ever asked anything else about it.
Also I did just look up the form and it clearly states immunizations are NOT required.
