Default AOS form questions

In regards to AOS forms, such as I-485 and I-864, I read at this site
http://warsaw-visaguide.hypermart.net/findex.htm that "It's highly recommended you
order original forms from INS, as INS is now reportedly asking for colored, original
forms and not downloads"

But then farther down the page, for the I-485 it says "Either an original or
downloaded I-485 is acceptable", and at the INS San Francisco office website it
suggests using the downloadable files to avoid having to wait in long lines to pick
them up in person.

Does anyone have any insite on this?

ALSO, at the INS site http://www.ins.usdoj.gov/graphics/fo.../i-485.htm#fba
it says an AOS requirement is the I-693 for a medical exam. As a K-1 my wife had just
taken a medical exam for all the initial I-129f paperwork. Isn't this kinda
redundant? Well it *is* the government so that's a silly question, but I guess my
real question is, is it really needed?

AND one last thing, is the G-325A (biographic info) that comes with the I-485 package
the exact same one as from the I-129f package?

thanks again for your time and patience cas

I would trust the INS site rather than a ccommercial one as far as what forms are
acceptable or not. Consider, if they didn't want you to download the forms, then the
INS site would not have them available for download.

Not only has INS given you forms to download, but it has recently made some of them
fillable... I don't think the purpose is for you NOT to use them.

As to your other questions, no she does not require a medical for the filing of the AOS since she is a K-1 visaholder. It tells you that in the instruction sheet for the I-485.

The bio sheet is the same G-325A that she completed for the K-1.

This time around you will need to complete an I-864 affidavit of support and not the I-134
