Default AOS fingerprints

I filed AOS, I-130 along with EAD on the 18th of september and yesterday i received a letter for Fingerprints


It says


"To continue processing of your application for I-485, CIS must send your Fingerprints to the Federeal Bureau of Investigation. You have been scheduled to be fingerprinted at the Location listed below.

Date and Hour November 12, 2003

How come fingerprints came before EAD?

Because the sub offices where the fingerprints are done are a lot more efficient than the rest of the Organization.... The EAD will come next...
And its good to get the security checks underway..for some people the checks are still going on long after they had their Interview..

AOS and EAD are separate applications, separate processing.

Thanks alot of the replies. I had my fingerprints done today even though they were scheduled for november the 12th but my attourney told me that i could try and get my fingerprints done today so i just went. I asked the security guard that if i could have my fingersprints done today and he said "yeah, as longest we are not busy".
