Just wanted to update the NG. We are finally approved after almost 2
1/2 yrs of wait.

ct 99 - came over with K1 visa. Nov 99 - married. Dec 99 - Filed for adjustment. Feb
00 - Filed change of address with ATL INS. Feb 02 - Status enquiry via congressman.
Mar 02 - Found out that I485 petition was denied due to failure to appear for
interview in Jul 01/Sep 01. Apparently the change of address never got to them. Mar
02 - Jun 02 -- Went back and forth to the INS to have file re-opened since it was
transferred to another state for archival. Finally, requested file back from archive
to be re-opened and interview re-scheduled. Jul 02 - AOS interview. Since I haven't
been fingerprinted - the INS officer had me goto the ASC on the same day to be
fingerprinted. On the same day, we left for our vacation!! When we came back - the
approval letter was in the mail. It has also requested me to appear at the office to
get the temporary stamp.
