AOS DORA Experiences
Hey,
Has anyone, recently completed the process through DORA (Dallas) for AOS.
The reason i ask is that i had my interview at the stemmons frway office on may 05 2005, i then went along and had my fingerprints and biometrics taken on 21st june 2005 (this tuesday).
i was just wondering if anyone else had been throuh the same recently and what their timframes for recieving the EAD and AP and confirmed AOS were after they had had their prints and bios done.
cheers

Re: AOS DORA Experiences
Hey,
teh interview was a breeze.
We arrived at the DORA office, handed in our forms and postal orders, then waitied for about 45 minutes before being called in...i had to have one fingerprint taken then we went into the office.
here we were asked questions like -
How did we meet?
When did we meet?
When we got married?
Who attended the wedding?
Questions about our son?
Questions about my family?
Has my wife met my family?
Have i met my wifes family?
That was about it, she then ran through that i had been accepted in to the program, and that they hope to process the app in about 90 days. i would shortly recieve a note asking me to make my fingerprint and bio appointment and that i should do this asap, other than that she couldnt see any problems...
We then left, I scheduled my appointment, word of advise, be prepared to make an appointment for your fingerprints as soon as the letter arrives, i rang them on the friday the letter arrived at 445pm, the rep on the phone gave me the dates (could get appointment for a week later) but i had to call them back as i had to confirm the appointment with my wife, by the time i called back they were closed, so i had to wait till the following day, rang again at 0800am and the earliest they could get an appointment was 4 weeks later.... so it pays to know when you are available.
so all in all a good and easy interview.
good luck with yours and let me know how you get on.
