If you apply for AOS within a year after arrival in the US
that K-1 visa you will not need a new medical.

Hi
I am trying to begin getting the paper work together for AOS. We will be
going to the office in Boston. Anyone with recent experience there? If so,
I have a few questions:
I have read various things about whether or not a K-1 needs to get another
medical exam. I was sent a form. Does Boston require another medical exam
for the AOS of a K-1?
Also, I know they have recently changed their policy about no longer taking
applications by walk in, that they have to be mailed. Has anyone tried to
just bring it straight to INS boston since they changed this policy? Any
success?
Along the line of the previous question, how long did it take to get the EAD
and advanced parole?
What do I have to include with the application and what do I bring to the
interview? I am a bit confused by all the lists I have seen online.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thankyou....Lili
