Aos Approved!

Aos Approved!
Because I really needed to renew my EAD, the last month we mailed two letters to the INS inquiring about the status of our AOS process.
Today, we were hoping to find the return receipt.
Instead, we found a letter with the official confirmation that as of 9/26/2002, I have been granted Conditional Permanent Residence in the United States of America!
We are so happy!!!

Re: Aos Approved!
Congrats. I guess the letter said to go and get your passport stamped -
you'll need that instead of the EAD until your GC turns up.

Re: Aos Approved!
Timeline:
February 2001 - filed for K-1
August 1st 2001 - Arrived in the USA
October 23rd 2001 - Wedding, filed the day after for AOS and EAD (we never applied for AP)
August 14th 2002 - Interview
September 26 2002 - CPR!! *S*
Yes, the letter said I can visit the INS office to have my passport stamped, but since we have no immediate plans to go anywhere, and it would take us about 8 hrs travel, we will just wait until the green card arrives in the mail...
