Default AOS Appointment arrived in mail!!!

Hi there,

First of all I apologise I've not been posting on this NG for few months now. My computer isn't working after the day day we had severe atorm here and I decided to post this message from work (secretly) hehe. Hope thye don't have any key logger software.

Well, our AOS interview notce arrived in mail on WED. I can't think of the date as I am so happy. The wait will end soon. These days we are getting our paperwork and evidence together.

For those who are new and haven't read my posts lately, well we filed AOS and Charlotte, NC in Jan. 2003.
We then moved to Dallas, TX and requested transfer of file at Dallas District Office. With the help of Senator Edwards' office they transferred our file in timely manner and I got my EAD renewed on March at Dallas office.

Well AOS interview notice arrived in mail. We are suppose to be at Dallas office on Apr. 08. Hope they'll let me stay with my wife and my little girl.

Well I better go before my bosses arrive. I'll try to keep this thread alive and I'll wait for your responses. Many thanks to those who have helped us.

Members please reply.

We received AOS interview notice exactly after One year, one month and 28 days. this includes the transfer of my file from NC to TX. I'm lucky that they didn't screw up and our file was transferred in a timely fashion (less than one month).

Hi there,

Charlotte cashed our checks in 4th week after we filed. And we received the first NOA and receipt 3 days after they cashed the checks. They issued me and A# in first NOA .

Hope this helps,
