Jeez this is ridiculous taking all this time. Who knows now when mine
>:will get approved.
Just crazy how long these security checks take. :That is peer
>BS you could still get an RFE. You sit all these month :waiting & then they throw at
>ya sorry you have an RFE. I am really :worried I will get one & at day 63.
It took us 61 days through NSC and we applied back in January. We didn't receive any
RFE's and this was just before they started doing the long security checks. We were
also quoted 70-100 days. Also, I remember that right before that, the processing
times through NSC were running around 80 days. Check the Dave Hollis sight, and you
can see for yourself.
Just sit tight for a bit, and your time will come. Remember, you're gonna have to get
used to waiting when dealing with the INS. This is just your first taste.
Good luck,
Angie

My first NOA is as of 05-01-02, (85 days) and the my second NOA well... who knows I
never got it. I think I am SOL, and I don't know what to tell my wife. It's kind of
amusing since I thought it was such a pain in the ass to be able to get married in
her country. I guess it is a cake walk since I am lost in this system. I don't know
what to do about not receiving my 2nd NOA. Any suggestions???

Paul there not at May yet for processing petitions. Unfortunately there still in April. Hopefully soon they will hit May & then yours should be approved.

Just as a follow-up to last week.
Day 105: (NOA1 04/12/02)
Phoned NSC again today. They are working on I-129f's received April 22nd (and it
would seem have been for the last two weeks). My I-129f petition is with an officer.
I assume this is an improvement on last week when it was STILL in security checks.
According to the person there, after this stage it either gets approved or an RFE (oh
please no!).
Looks like they are blaming the security checks for the hold up....hmmmm.
Well, here's hoping soon.
