What are your timelines ?
I am waiting since June still no news, and looking
at the San Antonio, I am getting a bit worried)

Hi. How did you find out when the FBI cleared your fingerprints? When I call the national customer service center, they don't even want to get my case #, just the zip code and then they give me the average wait time in my area.

Don't know why the above message did not propagate to my news server
from britishexpats, but any way:

There is a number for FBI floating around the newsgroup, (not toll free).
When calling have your BCIS number READY, there is a live person who
will pick up (and they do not have time to chat with you).

Finger prints is one thing, usually done quite fast. The second thing is the
"name check" for which I have no clue how long it takes or where to find
out the progress. Rumor is that if you have a "common" name it will take
longer. I have quite an uncommon name, cant say that it is helping me now
(and I hoped that all those "could you spell it please", would pay off)

So anybody has any clue how to check the "name check" progress?
