Thank you.
The card arrived in the post today (9 days since it became valid), and thankfully it also has my married name on it. They would only issue the interim in my maiden name for some reason (grrr). Now, all my US ID and documents are in the same name I can begin to stop feeling quite so split personality! Hoorah!

Good Luck and make sure you call them as start an inquiry.
Also if you haven't gotten an interim for the full 240 days, you can go back to the remaining.

My guess is that MSC started processing cases (submitted in mid-April and thereafter) quickly and cases up that point (mid-April) slowed significantly. I'm not sure how they work on these things, I'm not too sure if they know themselves. I just know that we've been waiting far too long. I contacted two of my senators last week, and one already contacted me to let me know that he's made an inquiry, so I'll let you know what he finds out
