Applied for AOS + EAD + AP in Feb '04 in Cleveland, Received NOAs in March '04. Interim EAD obtained in August '04. No news yet from MSC re: original EAD or AP applications. Is it normal?

I probably don't quite fit into this category, I also post very rarely here, but my EAD Notice of Action was from the end of DECEMBER (!!). My case is with the NBC.
Yesterday (Sept 9) my EAD was approved online at the Case Status Search page of the USCIS. I guess that took them quite a while. At least now I know that my case has not fallen through the cracks. At least not yet.

Just an update.....as of 22sep04 USCIS is processing EAD's from 09mar04....argh!
So my husband call the misinformation line and ask to open up an inquiry?

Sent my EAD application to Atlanta in December 2003. NOA 1 from Misssouri gives me a date of January 21st 2004. I arrived on a K1 visa.
I got an interim that takes me through to January. I hope the real card gets processed by then, especially if, as Rukhi posted, they only allow a maximum of 240 days possession of an interim card. Cripes! Wasn't panicking too much thinking I could just get another interim card in due course if necessary, but if that's true I'd better start being a squeaky wheel quick smart.
