My NOA was September 30th - heard nowt. Cindyabs is somewhere in early/mid October and she's not had a response either. If the online status screen is to be believed for the NBC, then they're currently dealing with cases receipted from April 28th. However, I believe (or hope...) that this is bollocks.

Have a look at the thread 'New K3 EAD Rollcall', and perhaps add yourself to it - it helps to reveal a more realistic picture of what the state of play is.

Certainly more realistic than the BCIS themselves appear to be able to manage, at any rate...

took my hubby 8 months for his EAD. but i think they're working faster now and just not approved earlier EAD applications fast enough...so you might hear back from them within 3 months while people back in dec2003-march2004 wait longer.
good luck

Well here in SF Bay Area they send out NOA, Biometrics and EAD notices all at the same time. I filed AOS in mid August and picked up my EAD on Wednesday.
EAD appointment letter cam exactly 8 weeks from filing the papers.
