All paper work was accepted on February 15

So we sent of are adjustment of status 2 months ago , after getting married. so i sent of the required documents then a couple of weeks later went to get my biometrics done. From people experience how long does work authorization take? I know it says 3 months just wondering how long it takes in reality?

It takes anywhere from 60 - 90 days to get EAD in hand after filing AOS.

Did you apply for Advance Parole (Form I-131) along with your AOS package?

Here's the I-131 application: http://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/f...form/i-131.pdf

Part 7, Question 1 on the I-131 application asks if you want this to be for "One Trip" or "More Than One Trip". Most people choose "More Than One Trip", just in case they need to travel more than once. Are you saying you only chose "One Trip"?

If you chose One Trip, then you can make one trip using AP, and then after that you will need your Green Card in hand in order to go back and forth whenever you want. You will get your Green Card after the AOS is approved (usually about 6 months after filing AOS).

If you chose More Than One Trip on the I-131, then you can use that same AP for multiple trips back and forth while waiting for your AOS to process.
