How will the length of time that my husband and I live apart affect the
result of our application?. We have been married for almost a year, and have
yet to re-locate and file paperwork. Should we file paperwork before either
of us moves to the other? (FYI...its looking like he will be relocating to
the US).

I appreciate your thoughts and opinons, of course hard facts are nice too...

It shouldn't affect it at all.

Well, the paperwork will be different depending on who is immigrating, of course. If your husband will be immigrating to the USA, yes, you need to file the paperwork before he comes here. He needs to get an immigrant visa first.
