I am trying to translate the birth certificates of my fianc�e and her
children, and I need help with a few words, please!!!!

You HAVE to have a certified legal translator do this for her in Brazil. YOU cannot do this for her. It MUST be a legal certified translation or document. My wife is from Sao Paulo and we went through this same thing a couple of years ago. Please feel free to contact us if we can help with other questions. Good Luck.

Hi Tom,

As you might remember, I used a certified translator for paperwork on my husband's K-1. I then did my own translation of documents for his AOS.

If you're having this much trouble translating this document, perhaps you aren't really qualified to translate it. You have to certify that you are fluent in both English and Portugese and that this is a true and correct translation. If you're relying on the help of strangers, how can you attest that YOU translated it and that it means exactly what it says?

My advice, If I were you, I'd use a professional on this one.
