Default Agencies to Help with K-1 and K-3 Visas?

Hi folks!

I'm new to this newsgroup, so forgive me if this question was already
discussed recently and I missed that discussion.

Do any of you have any especially positive or negative experiences with
these law agencies that help out with K-1 and K-3 visas? Who seems to
actually work and not?

I saw an ad for these folks: http://www.4thelegalgroup.com/ Do any of
you have any positive or negative experiences with them specifically?

In my particular case, I may need somebody who has experience with other
types of visas too, because my girlfriend/fiancee has a daughter who
will turn 18 in a few months, so we may not be able to get her through
on her mother's K-1. Then again, I see several references to 21 being
"the magic age" rather than 18 (in fact, so far I haven't seen any
references to 18).

(Preferably reply to the newsgroup, please. If you reply by Email, I
will sincerely try to receive your message, but it will probably get
buried in spam.)

The age of 18 is relevant as you must have married her mother before the daughter turned 18.

Personally, I would not use a "group" for this but would prefer either an immigration attorney well versed in the type of visas required and/or a nonprofit organization with the same credentials if you are strapped for the funds to pay an attorney.

Thanks for the replies.

OK. Maybe a K-3 might work better on the theory that I can arrange to
marry her in China sooner than getting a K-1 through. Hmmm...

So then, I think I understand you to be saying that, once I've married
her, even if her daughter is over 18, it'll be substantially easier to
get her over here. Is that what you're pointing out?

"Group"? Are you referring to this newsgroup, or that agency I mentioned?
