Default Affidavit of support by retired USC?

is it possible for a retired person (Usc spouses' dad) to be the co-sposor.Obviously he cannot provide with taxes or payslips from the last 3 years...
Cheers!

Absolutely!! I personally know of such a case. Although, he can still provide taxes. He still gets income from retirement, pensions, social security, and such. So he would still have tax records. Instead of payslips, he can provide year-end statements from his retirement income. Bank statements will also show his retirement income deposits. So yes, it is 100% possible.

Best Wishes,
Rene

Why not? Retired people pay taxes.
