Default Affidavit of Support Questions

OK, I am sure everyone has already posted answers to similar questions but I have not read other posts on the subject unfortunately. Here are my questions if you all would be so kind to help me out.

1. "I have other personal property, the reasonable value of which is" Is it necessary to put anything here if I meet the 125% poverty level? I could include my car but I don't know if it is necessary or not and I dont know what to guess the value of my car is.

2. Question 11 is "(Complete this block only if the person named in the item 3 will be in the United States temporarily.)
That I intend do not intend, to make specific contributions to the support of the person named in item 3. (If you check "intend," indicate the exact nature and duration of the contributions. For example, if you intend to furnish room and board, state for how long and, if money, state the amount in United States dollars and state whether it is to be given in a lump sum, weekly or monthly, or for how long.)" Since the K1 is a non-imigrant visa do I need to fill this out even if it is intended for him to stay longer?

3. On the signature section I know I sign as sponsor then it says "Subscribed and sworn to (affirmed) before me this day of ..." Who signs this part? A notary of the public? And what is the "My commision expires on...:? And the Oath Officer?

Sorry I am a complete moron. Your help is appreciated.

Jana, from what I know, you only need to fill out the parts that apply to you. You need to have it signed by a Notary Public and they fill out the "oath" and "my commission expires on" parts. If you have a job that meets the 125% ver poverty level, I think that is all you need. Good luck.

You don't need to list the value of anything if your income is clearly
over the 125 percent of poverty level. An approximation of the car's
value can be obtained from Edmunds. (www.edmunds.com)

No, you do not need this.

This is for the notary. The form needs to be notarized.

To clarify my earlier post.
You do not sign this form until the notary tells you to.
