Can a currently unemployed person be a sponsor? Can he use assets such as
bank deposits, CDs, stocks, and IRA accounts only to be qualfied?
Other information:
In last three years each year his income is much more than the 125 percent
of poverty line requirement. This year his income before to be unemployed
and unemployed benefits together are more than the 125 percent of poverty
line requirement.
Thanks for any information.

Yes, as long as he has sufficient income or assets.

Yes, shouldn't be a problem then, as long as you can show that you have
sufficient prospects of finding a new job.
