Default Affidavit of Support and Birth Certificate question.....

Ok first question, on Affidavit of Support is my husband enough to put on there? Or
do I need a co-sponser? My husband has made the requirements I believe so he should
be able to do it himself and I dont' believe I would need another co-sponser like his
parents or something like that.

Second question, have I read right, even though Im applying in the USA here do I need
to have a written paper document with my parents ID on it to have it count? Because
I have my wallet size one, and it's always gotten me into the country but I didn't
even think for a moment that I had a paper one. Naive me here. So I don't know how
to even go about it. I was born in Calgary Alberta so I imagine that I would contact
someone there? I have no clue what so ever!

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

Default Re: Affidavit of Support and Birth Certificate question.....

If you husband earns enough to support you and himself, plus 25% over of the poverty guidelines for a family your size you are fine.

As for the birth certificate, yes you need the long form with the parents names, etc. on it. The short form is insufficient.
