affadevit of support I-864 questions about $$??...
Hi there
Im about to receive my packet 3, but have been looking online at the
forms, to get an idea of what to expect.
I know that %125 of the poverty level has to be met.
My question is, we are doing DCF, so my US wife is in the UK. Will
they want her most recent years earnings, or the last years earnings
in the US?
In cash, we have approx $25,000 in my UK account. Will my wife as
sponser be able to use this cash as proof of the 125%?

Doesn't matter. Have you lived together for at least six months? If so, your stuff is her stuff in the eyes of DoS.
Her last 3 years earnings (UK presumably) are what they want. If she has not filed US tax returns for the past 3 years, she is required to do so, and should before your interview time. Since UK earnings won't 'transfer' to the US, she wants to present a case of having/looking for work in the US.
Are there other assets you can tap (real estate, vehicles etc)? Asset value must be divided by 5 to be used on the I-864.
