I'd like some advice. I'm a U.S. citizen by birth engaged to an Ecuadorian
citizen, but am currently awaiting the finalization of my divorce. I'd like
to get her here as soon as possible. The divorce should be over in the next
couple of months. Which would be quicker/easier, a Fiance visa application
or the Visitor's visa application? Would there be problems if we applied
for the tourist visa then married? I just don't want to have to wait
forever to have the love of my life by my side.
Thank you,

Applying for the tourist visa with the intent to marry someone once
here is immigration fraud. You have to be very careful how you do it.
I'd see a good immigration lawyer.

Thanks for the advice. I've looked at quite a bit of the available
information and have decided to wait until we can apply for the fiance visa.
The processing time seems to be much better. Even with the wait for the
finalization of my divorce, she will still be here sooner with the K-1. I
was curious about the legal implications, which is why I posted in the first
place.
Thank you
