Hi,

A russian woman married to a US citizen. She travels to Russia with the ticket and
AP under married name and passport under maiden name. Will there be a problem with
russian officials when arriving and/or leaving russia with different names ?

I don't think the airline will even take her out of the U.S. like that. Her ticket
name does not match her passport. She is not the ticketed passenger. You can ask
the airline if they'll accept her as a passenger with a marriage certificate to
substantiate the name change, but I doubt it.

She needs to apply for a new AP in her maiden name, and do all the travel under her
maiden name. That's the best solution, and avoid all ambiguities.
