adjustment of status interview

my wife and i have an ajustment of status interview soon they are asking that i bring
w2 and other things problem is i have not filed taxes since 99 because i have been
trying to work out an Irs issue.i have my w2's from this year and plan to file how
will not having my w2 for past 3 yearsd affect her i have documentation that i have
been working on irs matter. I plan to file all of the returns i missed shortly since
there will be no penalty since i dont owe taxes and expecting a refund. At the time
of filing my mother decided to be a co sponsor will i need her information for past 3
years also

I'm assuming you require this for the Affidavit of support. If you weren't able to
file returns for any of the past 3 years, you need to submit an explanation on a
separate sheet of paper. Basically what this means is that you write a letter
explaining your IRS issue. Also, any letters you have from the IRS concerning that
issue would also help.

yes sir i submitted an explanation when i filed for adjustment of status,also i
have letters from Irs so hopefully i have everything that INS will need thanks for
the advice

have letters from Irs so hopefully i have everything that INS will need thanks for
