Does anyone have any information for this? I did not see a response
for it so I posted it again. \

Subject: Adjustment of Status and college tuition

Hi all

I filed my I-485 at NSC (EB3 based) in December 1998.

Recently, I read somewhere that there was a judgement passed in some
court mentioning that people who had filed their I-485 be considered
residents when it came to paying college tuition fees (instead of the
exorbitant fees that foreign students have to pay).

Does anyone know where I can get some more info about this ? Or post
the
name of the newsgroup I should post this query in ?

Thanks. "

You need to research this for the individual state where you live. In
most states, they will consider you a resident for tuition purposes
once you have filed for immigrant status. They generally use your
priority date as your residence determination date.
