Default adjusting to permanent resident status after marriage, but travelling on VWP

hi all...need some advice as getting so many conflicting messages. I am
travelling to the USA in Dec 2005. Will travel with no visa under the
VWP..can stay for 90 days. I will be living with my boyfriend who is a
US citizen. We have no marriage plans, but once we are together it may
be hard to leave USA. If we were married before the 90 days of me
having to return, can I legally stay in USA and get my status
adjusted..or would I have to return to my own country to re enter the
USA on a visa?...any help much appreciated

It's all about intent, if you had intent, which your showing you might, by asking...then using the VWP could be considered fraud....but if you didn't have intent, AOS can be done, just usually have to explain more at the interview, and you also sign away your right to appeal any decision coming over on the VWP.

Umm... no, you will be "staying" with your boyfriend.
