Hi,
I read a reply to one of my posts earlier regarding the I-134 +needed documents.I was
told on here that I needed to have the last 3 years worth of tax returns from my
sponsor to go with the statements and I-134. Well, I have called the US Embassy, and
I was told that this is not true. The tax returns are not required for this
interview, altho they are helpful. However they are required for when I go to change
my status while in the United States.
This is what the Embassy said, so I would take it that this is true?
Thanks,
John

When I filled out the I-134 (for the initial K1 interview) the form only asked for
last years tax return, not 3 years, and that's all I sent them. They had no problem
with this. The I-864 affidavit of support for AOS asks for 3 years tax returns.
