My fiance (USC) is still a student, his dad will co-sponsor. Can someone tell me how
this has to be done with the affidavit of support? Do they both have to fill out an
affidavit of support in which they both maintain they will sponsor me? Or does my
fiance need to fill out one, saying he will sponsor me and his dad another one
saying he will sponsor his son? I know this sounds stupid but it is really
confusing. Please help

Yes. Your fiancee is the primary sponsor. His father is the co-sponsor. Both have to
fill out the forms.

I don't think letter is necessary since a co-sponsor can be any US citizen. The
person does not have to be related to your fiancee at all.

They both sponsor you.
Your fiance doesn't require a sponsor, since he is a US citizen; only the immigrant needs to be sponsored.
