Here is another tribute to 911, probably the most moving one I've seen so far. It
takes quite a while to load, but it's well worth the time.

Well worth the load. We will not forget. NObody kills this many people and gets away
scot-free...NOBODY. You may not agree with my opinion and that's ok. My daddy gave
four years of his life for this country, and many gave their lives. And if we have to
do it all over again, then so be it. I, for one, think it is worth it. If you don't
think that, then there's the door, don't let it hit you on your way out. alvena

All I got was music... Beautiful music, but only music. My speakers aren't turned up
enough for me to hear the lyrics... Am I missing something?

indeed, very moving. for any who use Morpheus, Mynapster, etc., you can find the
"only time" or "only time WTC" version with the voice edits of the president's,
emergency workers', witness & family remarks dubbed in. beautiful song.

Steve said if they, meaning The Who, Mick & Keith, had a sense of humor, they'd have
come out on stage with zimmers. LOL!!

My step-daughter had a couple of friends over last night. Even they were impressed
with "isn't he cute" Roger Daltrey. My friends and I are looking to contact those two
chicks on the balcony in the stars and stripes shirts!!!

its too easy to let the tragic events on September 11 fade in the mind with day to
day life, seeing this site Alvena, makes what we are doing overseas worthwhile...and
leaves pictures in the mind we can never forget* thankyou.

So kind of you, however give Dutch the credit, he posted it originally. I guess the
part that bears on my mind the most is the ones that we will never find. Just realize
the amount of devastation that is required in order to turn human bodies into
dust...I cannot even come close in my wildest dreams....

Every time the Taliban (erroneously) tells about how many civilians we have killed
in Afghanistan, I subtract that number from the ones at NYC, and so far we are still
*way* over 5,000 ahead, the way I calculate it. Any sympathy I might have had for
them dies right there. I have to thank them for reminding me, every time they put
out this kind of report. I hope they rot in hell and I don't mind our hastening
their journey. Maybe IF they do find virgins there, they will be infected with
anthrax... ; ) alvena

A different perspective on the current war. Light relief.

Thanks for sharing it with us Dutch. I've found that many people are more than willing to place the events of the 11th of September behind them and are now sitting back and voicing their objections to the US and the world war efforts to eliminate terrorism and saying that we all should forget what happened and leave them be and they will leave us be in the future. Believe we were in a state of isolation before Pearl Harbor was attacked as well.

Rita

PS I've passed it on to those people with that attitude as well ...
