I know what your saying...I felt so bad a while back that my fiance had been
approved so soon after filing and there were so many waiting for so
long....The Lord works in mysterious ways...everything is meant for a
reason..just hold on and keep the faith....you never know, like my husband
and myself, we waited for over a year before we could even petition for the
fiance visa...he had been seperated for 2 years before we met and his ex
living in a different country, but she would not submit to a divorce so we
had to do it the hard way....wait....but when our time came around to file
the petition it was quick (3 months) but I figured we were blessed because
we had kept our relationship after all the wait........It will pay off in
the long run!!!!

Cheers

I know how you feel. Its not fair at all when others get approved and receive their visa in hand in 3 months time. We waitied over 8 months to get visa. We were under administrative review for over 4 1/2 months for no reason at all. We did nothing wrong legally, just that the two of us were from 2 different races.

Also, what gets me is that someone can have a criminal record and get a approval from their waiver even before we are done with the review. And we did nothing wrong!!!! How fair is this. I know how you feel. But its life, its not fair. Some people sail through life with no problems and many others have hardships.

My fiance and I, too, are awaiting an interview date since he returned packet 3 mid-December. We hope to speak with someone at the consulate in Naples this week to inquire again as to when the interview might be scheduled. I hope it's soon - for you, too!

I am very sorry that you have to be separated that long. There are times where I wonder what people are thinking when they are writing the laws. Obviously, they are not thinking past the end of their nose... I find it incredible that the timelines can be multiplied several times over for a K1 or an AOS from one situation to another similar one, this is whithout even speaking of the differences between countries (VWP and no-VWP). The thing that makes the most non-sense to me is that everything is based on when you become a permanent resident and not when you get married.

Anyway, I just wanted to say that I do not believe that some people sail through life and some have it hard all the time. It is more like everybody has some hard times and sails through some things. For me, I am definitely not sailing with the INS, and it makes me angry sometimes, but then I think that I have it pretty good overall and it is not worth making myself miserable for something that looks barely more official than a Blockbuster card...

Wishing everybody a speedy process

I've been waiting since May 2002 with only the 1st NOA using the Texas Serv.
Center. K3 was filed for in December 2002 with no acknowlegement as of yet.
There's more than yourself going through the difficulty.
