28 days and no AOS receipt??
Hello,
It is coming up on 30 days since BCIS recieved my AOS petition for my wife. I have not received anything from them.
I filed via USPS and they received the application on 11/12/03
What is the general procedure for followup?
Miami is my district office and a fee waiver was requested.
What next?

Have they cashed the checks ? if so just wait a little bit more... if
nothing happens
write them a letter, showing proof and ask why you have not received the
NOA.

nothing happens
write them a letter, showing proof and ask why you have not received the
NOA.

remember...there are no checks to cash, it is a fee waiver request
so does this mean i will get no receipt back whatsoever?
i sent them a letter for followup regardless

You don't always get a receipt. Have you checked out the filings for AOS in the Miami office to see what has happened to others dealing with Miami. The link is found in the root post to the BE forum under my name.
