Default 129F Question PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!

Ok here is my problem.
I filed for my wife who lives in canada at the moment. We filed the
I-130 and have received the NOA and now im filing the I-129F which i did
and forgot to send the correct fee it was returned and now im sending
again. But upon reading the I-129F instructions on how to fill it out i
came across this.

12. How do i use this form for y spouse or chicl seeking entry using a
K3/K4 Visa?

This form may be used to obtainn a K-3/K-4 visa for your alien
spouse or child. Fill out the form as directed except assume the
"FIANCE"or FIANCEE means spouse. In addition,OMIT questions B.18 and B19
by entering "NA" note that this form is olny necessary to faciliate the
entry on your spouse or child as a NONIMMIGRANT...Ok here is the
questions of 18 and 19.

18. Is your fiance(e) related to you? [yes] [no]
If ou are related, state the nature and degree of the relationship, e.g
third cousin or maternal uncle,ect.

19. Has your fiance(e) met and seen you? [yes] [no]
Describe the circumstances under which you met. If you have not
personally met each toher, explain how the relationship was
established, and explain in detail any reasons you may have for for
requesting that the requirement that you and your finace(e) must have
met should not apply to you.

Now on the instructions it just staed assume that finace(e) means
spouse. SHE is my WIFE so she is my spouse. right? NOW wh do they want
me to say NA on question 18 and 19. i can understand on question 18
saying NA cause she isnt related to me except for marriage. But on 19
question we have met and we did get married so by me saying NA dont this
seem kinda confusing.? Please someone help me with what to put when it
states have we met....yes or nor and why they want me to say NA..... she
is my wife and we are filing the I129f now.

Read what you wrote-she's your wife, so unless you married by proxy, you obviously met, , ergo, it's NA, because it doesn't apply.

I just checked a copy of our I-129f... we put NA on questions 18 and 19... we were approved, no problem...

But I think the K3 visa has been around long enought that they should have a separate form for K3s by now and then there wouldn't be this kind of confusion...

James,

Have you checked? Visajourney does not provide a sample I-129f filled out for a spouse.

Regards, JEff
