As of January 10, 2011, we are processing petitions filed on October 1, 2010.


In all the years I have been watching these cases, they are very consistent at 5 months, petition to visa.
The specific 'when' of any step in there is really not that important. Be prepared, and respond when requested.

Yes thanks :-) It does help to hear this especially when you feel in the 'black hole' , Ians point is well taken too as when you heard nothing you just waited !
As we now have the expectation of an email or letter it does cause more anxiety !
