Default *AOS interview question

Is working illegally relevant in an AOS interview? Do they ask? Is it
forgiven if getting married to an USC?

Thanks

They might.

Usually, yes...once you are married to the USC.

Working without DHS/USCIS authorization, in and of itself, will not make you ineligible for a green card based on marriage to a USC.

If you claimed to be a USC to get that employment, that could throw a wrench into things.

A young lady from Mexico married a military man and worked without authorization. It caused them problems and delayed her adjustment years (travel documents and advance parole annually) It took eight years to resolve. My neighbor
