Default ** I-765 EAD - Which is faster Online App. or completely through mail on paper? **

Anyone have any experience with the new Online I-765 application and
whether it would be faster to just send the I-765 as paper with the
I-485 package application or whether it might be faster to get
employment authorization by filing the I-485 by mail and then doing
the I-765 online?

Are you speaking as a K1 or K3? K3 don't file online-why I don't know, but we don't.

It's a hidden tax imposed on people who will be too
afraid to complain.

Alot of people have posted that the paper version seems faster (at least for K-1 people). That is only an observation of the trend...

It could vary if your local office is extremely slow or fast...

Well, then how about make the USCIS privatized?
Lets have 10 of them, and let supply/demand do the magic.
And government will regulate it (anyway, that's the only job
government can do well)

The so called rules state that K3 people are not permitted to file online. They must mail in their applications. If we knew the answer as to why then we might also know why K1 people get an interim EAD on arrival & K3 dont!!
