yay or nay to this?

It was a “bit of a rant” that the blogger herself admitted meandered “all over the place.” But when North Dakota mother of two Stephanie Metz declared to the world that her children were “not the center of my world,” it struck one hell of a chord.

Ah, blogs. How attention-seekers with more fingers than brain cells fill their day.

yay to this article, nay to the original "rant" from the mother. She had some good points but quite frankly I can't stomach hearing how "they" would handle a situation when they've never been put in it.

Must be a sign of age when you look at these young parents who really think they know it all and yet their kids are still toddlers! Don't wish to give them any clues as to what lies ahead, rather they found out for themselves.

These teenage years are the the most emotional, heart tugging, frustrating, and damn right friggin annoying I've ever experienced in my lifetime.

Just love the way that these new parents think they've got the answers when they haven't even faced any challenges yet, potty training isn't a challenge, talking to your kid in the private room at the ER because they want to end their life is challenge!

Yes. After reading, she seems to be rehashing some well worn ideas on free range kids etc.. Few parents are as overprotective or politically correct as bloggers like to make out as the norm. It's easy ranting.

Absolutely, who are these boring tw@ts? Their need to go viral on everything they say or do makes them become controversial when in fact in real life they probably wouldn't say boo to a ghost!
