www.FilipinoCupid.com Advert

Google ads often displays the ad for this site when I go to the Canada forum (here, on britishexpats.com).

How do people feel about seeing this type of ad? Do we want more, similar ads? Are we disgusted and want it removed? Are people here actively using the services of FilipinoCupid.com?

At home I mostly use the internet on a big screen in the living room. This ad is a cause for concern here, what with the cleavage and naked shoulder action coupled with the keywords "dating and singles".

I haven't been grilled about it yet, but it's only a matter of time before I am, and I need a good excuse for allowing it to be there.

If you mean that this ad is being displayed in B.E then I'd suggest you pop a copy of this post into site feedback. :)

I dont get pop ups, so I dont know what ads are "normal" here, but doesnt google ads tailor the ads that pop up for you based on your previous search history? I personally get followed around by Casio Privia keyboard ads, although I bought one over a year ago after doing my internet research...

Maybe you should stop going to those sites.... you know the ones:lol:

Re: www.FilipinoCupid.com Advert

I've only noticed it on the Canadian forum, on the right side bar (and nowhere else on the site or other sites).

This computer is clean (in fact I only built it a few weeks ago), so not much search history. I thought the ads were generated by the content of the web page viewed?

I'll have a look on the laptop, when I get a chance, and see if it's coming up on there too.

I see the ad too, and I don't make a habit of soliciting the affections of Filipino ladies. Or any ladies of any nationality.

I am normally online at work on a work computer, so yes, the sight of a bare shouldered Filipino may become problematic.

Could be that your browser is blocking them?

I use Chrome.

So do I, but the only perk of modding is the premium membership.

Did you post this in Feedback? If you like I can move this one. Im not sure of the advertising policy for the site.

As I mentioned in Site Feedback, thanks for the heads up. I'll get it blocked.

Seriously... why don't you have an ad-blocker?

Well, normally I take no notice of the sidebar ads (until recently) and pop-ups are almost always blocked.
