WISE Club Vancouver

Does anybody go there? My friend's wife is in a beer and yoga group that meets there, and it's a half hour walk from his house. Their website says they have darts, that's part of why I'm curious.

Has a certain ring to it, doesn't it? I think they've been at this for 15 or 20 years - sounds much better than yoga for yoga's sake. They go to yoga, then they go for beer.

I've done the 'downward facing dog' a few times after too many beers. But it's never been on a yoga mat, it's usually been on a bath mat - with my head in the toilet bowl.

I have been. I like it. Concert hall upstairs, beer + darts downstairs. If you like the WISE Hall, you may also like the ANZA Club. More beer, more darts:

But WISE doesn't open till 7 and my friends say it gets busy fast; what time does Anza open? I couldn't see it on their site. I'm going to hike down to the drive later today and get some sausage so I may go looking for some of these places while I'm out.

Enjoy the weather while you're here although its starting to get a little hazy this morning but I think it'll disappear by the afternoon.
