Default Will Lizzie be calling Mike Holmes?

Well according to this Liz is down to her last million in the Reserve Fund.
The Queen’s finances were at a “historic low” with just £1-million left in reserve, MPs said.
MPs said her advisors had overspent to such an extent that her reserve fund had fallen from £35-million in 2001 to just £1-million today.

She could always sell off the odd castle or flog a couple of them jewels on e bay.
Time to rewrite London Bridge is falling down.
I suggest she gives Mike Holmes a call he will make it right.

Bit of a difference between the "Queen's finances" and those of the "Household".

I think it's safe to say the monarchy will wind down over the next few decades. Blame/applaud Diana. William will be seen as too normal, and by the time George inherits, they'll be on par with the Dutch royal family, probably living in a large condo on the Southbank with Buck House being operated by the National Trust.
