Why I dont have dialup internet

I live in a "not spot", there is no highspeed internet available yet, not even expensive satelite options...

No satellite connection? I thought that was the pint of satellite, that you can get access from anywhere on the planet.

You still need a decent line of sight.

Do you have track a specific satellite? It must be possible if someone is rural (open space or ability to erect a tower). Odd.

Yup we have a super high tower with a dish on it on top of our house, but if you live in a dip and the receiving tower has obstructions then your tower would have to be tens of feet tall and not viable.
