Well a Beaver lives in a lodge so the Beaver Lodge sounds pretty good and lets face it who doesn't like Beavers unless their dam floods your property.
See I managed to keep it clean

I remember watching a rerun of the Beverley Hillbillies (was there ever a time that it wasn't a repeat - same with the Lucy show ) where they ate Possum for dinner.

That date -11th April - henceforth became known as Possum Day at my house. Not that we ate Possum mind you.

Possum Lodge is from Red Green. A fine example of Canadian television

I think I've seen a bit of that. Sadly you might be right.

Although The Border and Da Vinci's Inquest/City Hall are examples of what it can be when it tries.

I loved Da Vinci's Inquest. Nocholas Campbell was really a good choice for the part.

The CBC are currently repeating a show called The Romeo Section that was made by the same people as Da Vinci's Inquest, and it is equally as good.

OMG How did that pass me by? Thanks very much.

Intelligence was another good one by Chris Haddock and Ian Tracey is so underrated.

CBC Wants 'Intelligence' Dead, Says Show's Creator | The Tyee

Might as well blame Harper for the CBC not showing it.

I stopped giving them ideas as they weren't paying me enough

I sometimes despair at what the head honchos at CBC think is good viewing for mainstream TV or the loyal viewers are just hicks and love to see Rick Mercer style shows. Im not saying Mercer isn't funny at times but he's been on too long the same as the Canadian Air Farce or This Hour Has 22 Minutes.

Anymore series or documentaries about Anne Of Green Bleeding Gables might have me reaching for the razors.
If they ever take off Coronation St then the CBC is dead to me.

In their olympic coverage they were the only ones to measure the medal tally in a certain way to make it seem Canada had done better.

Or Corner Gas.

I'm surprised that hockey fans from Quebec and BC haven't complained about bias to that team from Toronto.

Given all those folk in favour of swearing an oath to the queen for citizenship, maybe Queen's Court?
