I believe that if a post or thread is deleted, then karma given within that thread disappears.
Are you saying that you received karma for a post you made & which is still on the open forum ?

No. Karma cannot be retracted once given. Like a PM cannot be unsent.
If you were given karma for a post you have made but that karma is not there now, then can you please check whether the post is still live on the open forum
I'm assuming you are gauging this from missing karma messages.

We should test to see if Karma is still working.
Click on my Karma button on the left, enter a simple message then click Add to Reputation.

Yep, if the post's been deleted, then the karma disappears too, so I suspect that's what's happened.
